CIRCUMCISION FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN
The soviet Union prohibited circumcision under sever penalty of law. For Jews, this means their children are unable to enter into the covenant o Abraham through the ritual of Bris Milah. With the cooperation if six hospitals in the greater Los Angeles area, Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and Mohelim, the Bris Milah for the Russian immigrant has become a weekly happening. To date, the number of children, adolescents and adults have entered the covenant of Abraham through Chabad.
